IN THE NAME OF ATLANTIS (AU NOM DE L’ATLANTIDE)
A superb creation that retraces our origins and was presented to the public to introduce “Yole Dérose Productions” (Les Productions Yole Dérose) at Tara's, in Haiti, on November 27th, 1999.

“A montage, a show, a moment, a small point of light in the darkness, a breath of life in the ocean of death..." to quote the words of Yole Dérose.
At Tara 's, November 27th, 1999 marked her  reinstatement in the artistic world; in this occasion, she presented to the public her first super production “In the Name of Atlantis” with those words:

“I remember, Ansy and I, one evening, having burnt our first stage costumes in front of a large audience, enthusiastic but unhappy. It was a December 20th. This gesture, in its solemnity and gravity, symbolized our final farewell to the scene: We would never sing again in public. But make no mistake: At this time, I had not set on fire neither my heart, soul, and  music, nor put aside my innate sense of beauty, dream, ineffable and sublime.
.
That is why, Dear Beloved Audience, I am coming back tonight on stage to present the first show of “Yole Dérose Productions” (Les Productions Yole Dérose).

"The river does not raise its course, but man goes back to his past. Thus, I invite you to join me in a dizzying dive into the unfathomable depths of our history, our memory. A dive that will take us to the shores of a Continent that has existed for hundreds of thousands of moons. Once upon a time, there was Atlantis...”

It is a great artistic presentation to which famous artists have lent their touches: Beethova Obas, who needs no introduction, he has every right to speak, and to sing... Emeline Michel, whose voice goes through all nuances and her body through all thrills... Andy Medina, dramatic, who came from the other side of our Island… Béatrice Kébreau, new voice, new promise, new hope... Eric Virgal, tender and rebellious at the same time denouncing the foolishness of men with as much passion as he sings love ... Azor beats the Tam-tam just like in eternal and immemorial times when we were so great, so beautiful, so pure, so...

The choreographies of Jeanguy Saintus and Jean-René Delsoin, created for the occasion, rocked the audience throughout the show with a special mention for "My Prayer” (Ma Prière), Ansy Dérose’s song, danced by ARTCHO Company which left the audience breathless. Upon an original idea of Yole Dérose, Madeline Ledan, fashion designer, has proposed her creation "Plunge" (Descente), parade of costumes worn by supermodels of “Perfection Academy” (Académie Perfection), referring to civilizations arising from Atlantis. A spectacular setting, a big Premiere, a sumptuous parade as glamorous as the event which made the site of Tara’s shine at its brightest.
